About Melissa
From the ashes of my own story, beauty
[Draft bio — replace with Melissa’s own words.] I didn’t set out to write a devotional. I set out to survive — and somewhere in the middle of the grief, the doubt, and the rebuilding, I found a grace that refused to let go of me.
These pages are the testimony I never thought I’d be able to tell. They are scripture I clung to, poems written in the dark, and prayers that slowly turned into hope. My prayer is that they meet you wherever you are.
From Ashes to Beauty was the first. It won’t be the last — I’m still writing, still listening, still finding beauty in the hard places. If even one line helps you believe your ashes are not the end of the story, then the writing has done what I prayed it would.
